links to register All camps are limited to 10 students and are full-day, half-day, and week long. Being creative can make you hungry & messy, so please have your child bring a nut-free snack for break time and clothes they can get paint on. We also do art outdoors and go to the park to get inspiration from nature. Therefore, please have your child bring appropriate clothes for the weather, such as a hat, sunscreen and walking shoes! |

Rainbow Art Camp ~ Ages 4-6
July 6-10, 9-12pm *Please bring a healthy nut-free snack *Add a Paint Box Shirt to Tie Dye + $14 The colours of the rainbow inspire so much wonderful art! Kids will learn about colour mixing, complimentary colours, contrast and more! Plus there will be lots of drawing, painting, and collage. Between all the art-making there will be time for stories, snacks and outdoor play. Kids will learn lots of new art skills while making paintings with their new friends. Camp cost: $260 + gst Animal Art Camp ~ Ages 4-6
July 27-31, 9-12pm *Add a Paint Box Shirt to Tie Dye + $14 In our Animal Art Camp we will be making art inspired by our beautiful Island; from bees, to owls, to bears, to our magical ocean environment! We will be drawing, painting, collaging and making unique sculptures. Between all the art-making there will be time for stories, snacks and outdoor play. Kids will learn lots of new art skills while making paintings with their new friends. Camp Cost: $260 + gst Magical Creatures Camp ~ Ages 4-6
August 24-28, 9-12pm *Add a Paint Box Shirt to Tie Dye + $14 Let's make magical art! From dragons to unicorns to mermaids kid will make lot of art using, painting, collage and sculpture. Between all the art-making there will be time for stories, snacks and outdoor play. Kids will learn lots of new art skills while making paintings with their new friends. Camp cost: $260 + gst Art & Yoga ~ Ages 6-8

Students will practice yoga and create yoga inspired animal art, tie-dye & more! Dress in comfy clothes and we have lots of yoga mats but feel free to bring your own! Camp cost: $270 + gst Comic Book Making ~ Ages 8-12
July 14-18, 1-4pm *FULL* Create a full day Camp by registering for our 12-1pm 'Lunch Hour Camp' and our Drawing & Painting Camp August 10-14, 1-4pm or August 31-Sept. 4, 1-4pm *FULL* *Please bring a healthy nut-free snack The more imagination the better! Students will invent and develop characters and story lines to form the building blocks of a great comic book. They will learn to draw different expressions and body movements along with composing a world for their characters to live in. Since words are also key to any story, students will learn different ways of incorporating text in their comics to express exactly what’s going on! Students will finish this camp with confidence in their skills and a comic book that's on it’s way to being complete! Camp Cost $270 + gst Mural Art Camp ~ Ages 11-14
July 20-24, 1-4pm In our Outdoor Studio *Please bring a healthy nut-free snack *Add a Paint Box Shirt to Tie Dye + $14 Let's paint murals! Students will learn to design, plan and paint various murals around Fernwood. By using stencils, sponges, spray paint and more we will transform neglected poles, walls and fences into unique art. Permission will be granted for all public art. Artists will also work on canvas & paper so they have something to take home at the end of the week. Camp cost $280 + gst Mixed Media Art Camp ~ Ages 11-14
August 24-28, 1-4pm (4 day camp) *Please bring a healthy nut-free snack In our Outdoor Studio Grab your brushes & palettes, and let's get outside and paint. Students will use drawing, collage, watercolour and acrylic paints to capture scenes in Fernwood and in our local parks & gardens. There will also be time for painting from the imagination and from images. Camp Cost $280 + gst

Art & Yoga Camp ~ Ages 4-6

Students will learn to draw their favourite sea creatures, boats, tropical islands, and create sculptural art too. This is the perfect camp for learning all about the Sea and making lots of new art while making paintings with their new friends Camp Cost: $260 +gst Jungle Camp ~ Ages 4-6
August 31-Sept. 4, 9-12pm *Add a Paint Box Shirt to Tie Dye + $14 Let's go to the Jungle! From monkeys to flamingos to cheetahs, kid will make lot of art using, painting, collage and sculpture. Between all the art-making there will be time for stories, snacks and outdoor play. Kids will learn lots of new art skills while making paintings with their new friends. This camp is perfect for kids who love to draw everything from animals to imaginary creatures. We will experiment with fun art materials like: watercolour, pastels, ink, acrylic and more. There will also be time for outdoor play and snacks. 4 Half-Day Camp $225 + gst 5 Half-Day camp cost: $270 + gst 3D Sculpture ~ Ages 6-8 or 8-12

Students will learn to to draw a 2D plan and then build it into their 3D vision! July 27-31, 1-4pm *Please bring a healthy nut-free snack *Add a Paint Box Shirt to Tie Dye + $14 Get ready to discover art from around the world! Students will learn traditional folk art techniques from Africa, South America, Asia, North America, Australia and more. Using acrylic paint, watercolor paint, drawing & sculpture students will create lots of art and learn more about the world around them. Camps cost $270 +gst Acrylic Painting ~ Ages 8-12 or 11-14

In this camp students learn how to use Acrylic paints to create many styles of painting. From impressionism, to modernism to realism we'll explore it all.
