This class is designed for children in Grades 1–5, although mature Kindergarten students who love making art and can focus on a project for over an hour are also welcome. In our Mixed Media Art Classes, students develop fine motor skills and build confidence while working on projects that span one or two sessions. They explore a variety of mediums such as painting, drawing, clay, and printmaking to discover which they enjoy most.

This class is fun and accessible for all ages and skill levels, introducing students to both technical and creative skills that will help them continue to grow and excel in visual arts.

Kawaii Drawing

This class introduces students to the popular Japanese art style known for its charming, lovable characters—think big eyes, soft shapes, and sweet expressions. Kids will learn how to design their own cute animals, characters, and objects while exploring colour, expression, and playful details.

Fan Art Drawing

This is a fun and engaging class where students draw inspiration from their favourite characters, shows, games, and books. While creating fan art, students learn essential drawing skills such as proportions, expressions, pose, and stylization, while also developing their own artistic voice. Materials used include markers, pencil crayons, paint pens and more.

Realistic Drawing
Sundays 12:30-2 ~ Taught by Ana

This class focuses on drawing what we see, not just what we imagine. Students build strong observation skills while learning proportions, shading, and value to create more realistic drawings. Subjects may include still life, animals, nature, and portraits, with guided instruction on facial proportions and expressions.
Emphasis is placed on patience, attention to detail, and learning how to see like an artist—helping students gain confidence as they take their drawing skills to the next level.

Unleash your creativity while experimenting with various materials. Students will learn to see and express your unique personal vision using mediums such as drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture.  Based on weekly themes, students will learn practical and technical art-making skills and develop their ideas into finished, original artwork.
